Easter Egg Hunt At All Saints

Today the Perky Puppies had a Easter Egg hunt and party. What Fun! Their teachers Laura Lee Justice and Mary Crouch made the entire class the cutest bunny easter baskets out of milk jugs and matching Bunny Ears. They looked so cute and found lots of EGGS! Enjoy the photos!

Perky Puppies Spanish Program

Today was a special day at All Saints Day School. Today the Perky Puppies and the Busy Bees performed in thier spanish chapel program. The audience sat there with our mouths wide open saying "WOW" as this outstanding group of 3 and 4 year olds sang three complete songs in Spanish. They sang very loud and did hand motions with the songs. This was the first program that Mary Catherine actually "performed". No hands over the ears and she actually sang and we could hear her. She loves spanish and her foreign language teacher says she is very talented with foreign languages. Attending this program was Ella, Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Jay Vinson.

ATLANTA TRIP WITH MEME & MEL!!!

Wow! What a great trip I took with my Meme and Mel Wright this weekend. They took me to Atlanta, Georgia for a very special treat. Meme and Mel were out west on grandparents and Special Friends Day at All Saints so when they got home, they made plans for this special trip with me. I thought Meme was just going to pick me up and take me to Charleston for the weekend. When she picked me up I was surprised to find out I was going to Atlanta to do some very special activities. We had a picnic on the way to Atlanta. What FUN!

We stayed in a hotel in down town Atlanta and went to the aquarium. We also went to the interactive children's museum. They had some very interesting white whales at the aquarium . I was completely fascinated with these whales. I told Mom and Dad all about them when I got home. I loved the backhoe type devise at the children's museum. Meme said I was very good at handling that machine...( get those skills from Mommy who can and loves to drive tractors, backhoes and such) . I also got to ride on the Marta train. I can make the noises just like the train makes when it is in the tunnel.

I saw lots of big buildings and I loved the way the city looked at night. It was soooo pretty. I cant wait to go back and ride on the elevator with all the lights and windows. My meme says she will ride with me to the top of the building on the glass elevator. You go MEME!!! Thank you Meme and Mel for this very special trip!

Mary Catherine received an easy bake oven from Jen Jen for Christmas (no, it isn't the one that was recalled). With assistance from Mom, Mary Catherine made her first cookies in the easy bake oven. She was so thoughtful to share these cookies with Mom and Dad. They were "SO YUMMY" HA! As you can see above, they were GIANT cookies. Believe it or not that is 4 cookies.

Mary Catherine has changed her mind about what she is going to be when she grows up. She continues to say she is going to be a Mommy. This week she says she is going to be an ambulance driver and a nurse too. The story of the month is as follows- Mary Catherine and her best friend RJ Lee have now decided they are getting married. They both told their Mom's that they are getting married in Pennsylvania and going to Disney world for their honeymoon. Then they are moving to NY City and are going to have 5 children. Two sets of twins. They are both fascinated with the concept of twins right now. When asked what how they intend to support all of these kids they insist that RJ is going to cut paper with scissors and Mary Catherine is going to draw pictures with markers. How CUTE?

RJ and Margaret Lee came home with Mary Catherine from School on Valentines day for a play date. We jumped in the jumpy castle, played dress up, checked the horses, took a walk and played on the swings. It was so much fun.

GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL FRIENDS DAY!!!

Today was Grandparents and Special Friends Day at All Saints. Gaga, Pop Pop, Aunt Flo & Uncle Jay were able to come hang out with me at school this morning. I made them special hand prints and showed them my classroom. We sang some special songs for them and then they got to go out on the play ground with us to play. It was so much fun...I didn't want them to leave. I can't wait for them to come back again real soon!
