My Baby Cousin Wills Urquhart

APRIL is finally here!!! Thank Goodness!! Wills was born today at the Carolinas Womens Hospital at around 3pm. He has a beautiful head of light brown/ blond curls. He weighed 8lbs and 7 ozs. He was born by C-section. This afternoon Mom and I went up to check on Sissy and Wills at the hospital. He is so sweet. Mommie and Sissy let me hold him for just a few minutes. He really likes me. When he started crying I knew exactly what to do, I patted him on the leg and I rubbed his face softly with my finger. He really liked that and one time showed us his dimple. It was soooo precious. I am still a little confused as to who his "mommie and daddy" are. I keep explaining that sissy is my sissy and wub is my uncle but mommie keeps saying that Sissy is his Mom and WUB is his Dad. I am just not getting it. I cried when it was time to leave the hospital. I did not like leaving Wills there without me. I am glad he is here...I have a lot of stuff I am planning to teach him.

I am going to be a BIG SISTER!!!!!

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to lunch at Townhouse and told me that I am going to be a BIG SISTER on November 25th, 2006. Immediately, I wanted to know where the baby was? I am so excited. I think it is a girl. I want to name her Ella. I asked my Mommy how the baby got in her tummy? She told me that God put it there. I continue to ask how he put it there? She assures me that God is GREAT and he can do anything even put babies in Mommy's tummy. I am okay with that explaination but I am still asking alot of questions. I like to talk to the baby and give it kisses. I am very cute kissing and talking to Mommies belly! I told Mommy that when I get "BIG" I am going to have a baby. She explained to me that there are a few other steps to that process. She says I have to grow up, then graduate atleast from college, find a husband, get married and move into a home of our own and then I can have a baby. That seems like it will take a LONG time. Yeah-I am going to finally have a baby sister or brother! My favorite question is...Is it November yet? God was listening to my prayers!

E-BAY Shopping!

When Mary Catherine had the fever virus, I was stuck in the house and was going stir crazy. I decided to check out e-bay. I started playing on there and seeing what kinds of things I could find. I started typing in names like Vive La Fete, Hannah Andersson, striderite, polo, royal child, bailey boys, oriential express, kellys kids just to name a few. I have found I can buy cute little dresses on e-bay for 1/3 to 1/2 what these clothes cost in the store. I started bidding and winning. Kevin changed my paypal password. Before the accountant found out, I bought several precious rosalina, michael simon, kellys kids, lilly pulitzer and vive la fete outfits for Mary Catherine. All of the outfits were new with tags and there was nothing wrong with any of them. I also bought a new pair of stride rite sandles for $15.00. They were brand new in the box. I got the items in the mail 2-3 days after I "WON" them. I has been a wonderful to shop and not have a 3 year old hanging on my leg or playing hide and seek under the racks the whole time. Have any of you tried this method of shopping? This is great!

Westminister Dog Show

I have been watching the Westminister Dog show on TV this week. I have a dog named Babbs. Babbs is an OLD black and white cocker spaniel. She was my Mommy's dog way before I was even born. Babbs has a lot of patience. Through the years, I have bit her, pulled her hair, pulled her ears, loved her, hit her, attempted to ride her and over fed her. Regardless, I love her and she loves me. This week she and I have a brand new game. I am the DOG TRAINER and she is my dog. I want her on a leash at all times and I want her doing the things that the dogs on the show do. I don't know but I am getting the feeling that Babbs is not as crazy about this game as I am. Our progress is VERY slow at this point. Basically, I scream and scream and scream for Babbs to COME. Babbs sleeps and ignores me until my mother gets a treat and holds it behind me and then Babbs will do whatever I want her to do. I say words like... COME, DOWN, SIT, SHAKE, CRAWL, & ROLLOVER. Babbs looks at me like I may have lost my mind when I talk to her in this "training voice". When she looks like that, I just give her another treat. Westminister . . . LOOK OUT we will be there before you know it.
